I admit it....I am a girlie girl....maybe not the "fluff and ruffles" type of girlie girl but I love pretty things....elegant things....if I were to discribe my scrapping style I would say it was more elegant and pretty than fun and cutsie....now part of this is due to the fact that I have older children....it's difficult to scrap teenage and 20something boys with lots of cutsie pattern paper. But over all I have more of a grown up scrap style. (for lack of a better term) So when I found out that Teresa Collins was coming to Scrapbook Dasies in Long Beach to teach a class I thought awesome...I love her grown up, elegant style of scrapbooking....I will sign up to take her class....then I found out the class would be with her beautiful new "Posh" line...and I thought what am I going to do with a pink and black....totally girlie girl project? I could have dug around and found lots of photos of my sister and me....or maybe done some of me with my girlfriends but I decided....NO I would make it work...who says you can't scrap boys with pink and black...now mind you my boys were slightly less than thrilled when I brought my projet home but I tried to include Holly and Me enough so that there was some female presence in most of the photos...I don't have to please everyone right? I had a great time and I learned some new techniques so it's all good right? So here is my totally girlie book with my awesome and amazing family in it.
Absolutely gorgeous, Kathy. Glad you had so much fun taking the class!
