Bittersweet

A few weeks ago I put in for a transfer with my job. I was on pins and needles until I found out if it went through or not. I kept telling myself that I could be happy either way...after all I don't live that far away from my current warehouse. But I found out a little over a week ago that I am going to the new store in Huntington Beach. While I am very excited to be going, it is just a tad bittersweet. After all I have made many friends at Costco 411 and while I am looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends there are some I am just plain going to miss. So to help me work through the whole process in my head I have been scrapping photos of many of my current co-workers. Here are a couple of collage type layouts that I did of some of the crazy, fun and wonderful people I work with. I am continuing to take photos as there are still many co-workers photos I don't have so I am sure there will be more layouts to come.

I am not sure my fellow employees totally understand why I feel the need to take pictures, play with paper, and tell "Tales of the Wholesale" but hopefully they will humor me in the next few weeks until it is time for me to leave. So stay tuned.

  6. Aren't you just so sweet, Kathy! You scrapped your co-workers! I only just learned today about your transfer and popped over to your blog to snoop around a bit. And here's your amazing layout of all the people you're leaving behind when you change locations! I think that's AWESOME that you scrapped them! Love how you used the hexagons, too! That's such a HOT pattern right now ... and you've used it brilliantly! Nice looking blog, hon. I visited for a while and sure enjoyed my stay!
